Dear Pastor,

Greetings in the Name above all names, our matchless Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! My name is Pastor Mike Guarnieri. I am the founder and pastor of The Father’s House, a growing Assembly of God church in the greater Akron, Ohio area. I am also the founder of the Christian Leadership Alliance of Greater Akron and President/Founder of River Ministries, our local itinerant speaking ministry of ministers who collectively serve and help local churches.

For some time now, I have been the pastor and close friend to John Jacobs, founder of the original strength team ministries, providing him with spiritual oversight and covering. John moved to Akron, Ohio for the purpose of accountability, spiritual covering and to be in relationship with Dr. Richard Dobbins, founder of Emerge Ministries. John and I talk several times a week and he is in church regularly when not ministering. Everywhere he goes, he gives my name and phone number for reference.

John has begun a new organization called “John Jacobs’ Next Generation Power Force,” over which he has personal oversight and involvement in every crusade. I know John very well. He prays with local pastors and holds crusades with many of my friends. I would like to clear up some miscommunication about John. With feats of strength ministries, there are those that are very competitive in every sense of this word. I have researched with John some negative statements made about him and found that most of it was only a personal vendetta against John. John did go through a divorce four years ago. I have spoken in detail with his ex-wife. I can tell you the divorce was not an issue of infidelity, nor of any scandalous nature. Although divorce is tragic and certainly not God’s best, he has used this in John’s life to make him a stronger, more sensitive person.

John is one of the world’s most gifted and powerful evangelists and has an incredible passion for the lost. I ask you to support him and consider having him for ministry in the near future.
