Kathy Bertram stands 5’8 tall and weighs 165 lbs. She served in the US Air Force as a weapons troop (AMMO). Kathy is a four year NPC competitor in the Figure Division and a current NPC Body Building competitor. She is currently the only female on the team and bench presses nearly 300 lbs. While in the Air Force, she spent 3 years in Okinawa, Japan. She got called to ministry three years ago and intends on serving the Lord with the gifts and talents he has given to her. Kathy has a true passion for seeing as many people come to know the peace and joy of knowing Jesus as their savior. She is honored to be a role model to young girls and share with them that they do not have to be anyone other than who God has made them and that they need not conform to society’s ideal images. In addition to being a part of John Jacobs’ Next Generation Power Force, Kathy hopes and dreams to achieve great things in the pursuit of competitive body building. She believes that you should always have big goals to work towards. “The bigger the challenge the more God’s strength can shine through you!” Kathy is happily married to her husband Jason of 8 years and has proudly raised their beautiful Rottweiler, Elsa! Kathy and her family reside in Mississippi.
