Josh Whisneant stands 6’ tall and weighs 320 lbs. He
was a standout football player in high school and
continued on to be an All-American football player
at East Texas State University where he received his
double Bachelors in Exercise Science and Nutrition.
Josh also received a Master’s Degree in Biological
Mechanics. After college, Josh went on to play for
the Dallas Desperados in the Arena League for a
short time. Josh then became a high school teacher
and football coach in Texas. He broke the NAPA squat
record in Power-lifting squatting for 860 lbs. He
holds several team records for bending steel,
breaking bats, and breaking bricks with his head. He
resides in Texas with his wife Ashley and is
expecting his first baby, Jayden McKenna Whisneant
later this year. Josh has over 6 years of experience
in the Feats of Strength Ministry and has been a
member of John Jacobs’ Power Force since the Fall of
2004. Josh has a true heart for our youth and enjoys
speaking in school assemblies to help change the
lives of those in need. He is a great influence on
students of all ages. Josh and his family reside in
Texas.
