Jack has been a member of John Jacobs’ Next
Generation Power Force for four years and is not
only a team leader but one of John’s top
motivational speakers and dynamic preachers. He
stands at a towering 6’5 and weighs 280 pounds.
Jack’s hometown is Jackson, MS where he was
recognized for his basketball accomplishments and
holds an all-state record in the high jump at 6’7
and ¾ inches. He graduated from Hillcrest Academy in
1988 and then received a scholarship to Stephen F.
Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. While
earning his business degree, he was a stand out in
basketball and was a 3 year letterman. After
graduation in 1993, he tried out with the Boston
Celtics and then traveled with a USA select team in
South America. He also played a short time with the
Yakima Sun Kings of the CBA. Although Jack excelled
at basketball, he realized this was not his life
calling. Jack became a leader and mentor at Teen
Life Challenge in Dallas, Texas (the World Wide
Ministry designed to help men and women recover from
the grips of addiction.) Through this 12-18 months
program, Jack had his life transformed by the Word
of God. He is a true example that Jesus still sets
people free. Jack is married to his wife, Wendy and
helps raise her beautiful children, Cameron and
Carson, and they are expecting a baby in Sept 2007.
Jack also has a daughter, Ashlynn and 2 sons, Austin
and Andrew from his previous marriage. His extended
family includes his black Pomeranian, Charlie. While
home, he loves to study the word of God, go to the
gym, spend time with his family and eat steak! Jack
is inspired by TD Jakes, John Jacobs, Kyle Manyard
(double amputee wrestler), Dr E. Caner of Liberty
University, and Denzel Washington. His favorite
bible verse is Romans 8:28.
